10 years experiences with a Global MNC in India, Italy, Taiwan and UAE.
Summary: Piping engineering and design for Plant & Offshore platform, onshore pipeline (above ground/ buried). Design calculations, Layouts, Stress Analysis and supporting including Reformer and Heater Piping. CAESAR-II for static, dynamic, wind, earthquake, flange leakage, Slug, Water Hammer analysis, cryogenic piping with two-phase flows and FRP/GRE/GRP. FEA environment, surge Analysis using PIPENET. Awarded “SCM Award for Innovation-2001” and nominated for “Jacques Franquelin Award-2002” for developing a procedure to study the effects of Earthquake loads on piping in Refineries. Familiar with all relevant codes viz. ASME, AWWA, API, WRC, IS etc.

·Prepare and update Design Basis, Technical Specifications, and calculations for detailed engineering, definition of Stress Analysis scope of supply, prepare drawings/sketches, undertake technical analysis etc. for EPC jobs.
·Check stresses at every piping components, design of Spring hangers, snubbers, supports,
·Lead the section team when assigned as Lead Engineer and assist the Group Leader in all the Section activities.
·Assistance in Equipment Layout, and necessary recommendations such as support relocation, additional supports and re-routing if necessary for over stressed piping arrangements.
·Co-ordination with Projects, other Engineering sections and subordinates, Client, vendors and site.
Common Cooling Water Project, IIP project,Offshore Platform piping & Onshore Pipeline, Hydrogen Plant, Berri Gas plant, Ammonia plant, Hydrotreater project, DHDT plant, Naptha Hydro-treater Unit (Revamp), Sohar Reformer Package, DCU Charge Heater, Combined Feed Heater, Hydrocracker Heater, PSA Hydrogen Recovery unit, Adsorber and valve skid for PEP unit.
