Renders full technical advisory support and geological guidance to drilling division through nominated site representative. Supervision of contractor personnel locate at rig sites to ensure correct/safe implementation for all geological programs including receiving daily drilling reports, updating data, highlighting problem areas and issuing corrective actions. PRE-SPUD preparation of geological predictions including formation tops, coring/cutting samples, total depth, open hole logging and testing. POST-SPUD monitors well progress daily via rate of penetration logs, cutting samples and mud logging as required, defines formation tops and determines casing, coring and total well depths, witness coring/logging operations, supervision of mud loggers controlling quality and accurate gathering of output data, advising drilling personnel at well site of potential hazardous zones, and changes in geological data, preparation of geological well data sheets, routine geological reports and well completion
