The Main Experience is in Electro-Mechanics & Rotating Equipment, and including the following: LIBYA Apr 98 up to date -Repsol Oil Operations (through Lcm Petro-Services) : Position : Senior Mechanical Engineer, working in a multinational team of expatriates. Main duties are the maintenance of four Gas and Oil Separation Plants (desert based) which are producing 265,000BOD. Responsibilities including training of locals manpower and working to a planned maintenance system called MAXIMO. Major duties include repair of all mechanical equipment on site, some of which are six units of ABB Gas Turbines GT-35C, Alfa Laval Centrifuges, Nitrogen Generation Packages, Nuovo Pignone gas Compressors (reciprocating) and associated equipment,as well as water injection systems, various types of air compressors and Flowserve (BWIP) main oil booster and shipping pumps. Duties also included Installation & Commissioning works of mechanical equipment such as pumps, compressors, production separators and chemical injection skids. 1996-1998 SOCOMENINE Co. (Contractor): Employed with Tobruk power station as mechanical engineer, work concentrated on overhaul of rotating machines (Turn-around program for two units of steam turbine, under supervision of ABB Co.). -Worked with AL-Khumos power station.Work covered maintenance of rotating machines & cooling systems (Turn-around program for four units of steam turbine, under supervision of Siemens Co.). -Employed with AGOCO company at AL-SARRIR Oil Refinery and MESSLA oil field to overhaul maintenance of equipment such as for fan coolers, cooling towers, heat exchangers, receprocating compressors, degasser and booster pumps, control valves, and participation with airconditioning (A/C) workshop team in troubleshooting and maintenance of many cooling and refrigirating systems.
Jan - Sep 96 - Employed with polytechnic Institute as workshop supervisor and instructor on internal combustion engines maintenance & touch-fitting. IRAQ 1991 1995 - Worked with KASSAR Engineering Company as Mechanical Engineer dealing with erection & maintenance of A/C systems. 1991 1993 - In addition to work mentioned above,worked as a part time job in maintenance of I/C Engines (Gasoline & Diesel Engines), Hydraulic systems and its control equipment.
