September 2001 - Senior Field & maintenance Engineer, MI SWACO Nigeria Ltd Initially a trainee, I have quickly progressed to Senior Field Engineer. I test, repair, maintain and operate all types of oilfield equipment. My main field duties cover Drilling Waste Management, Solids Control and Pressure Control. Additional duties incorporate rig visits for maintenance and service of all electrical equipment.
December 1999 – September 2001 Rig Electrician, SAIPEM (Drilling) Nigeria Ltd Installation, regulation, maintenance and service of all electrical equipment on the rigs I worked on. Specialties include digital and analogue telecommunication and instrumentation networks.
July 1997 – June 1999 Instrument technician/NYSC, National Fertilizer Company Installation, maintenance, calibration and monitoring of all measuring and sensing equipment within the facility I worked at. Specialties include, flow, pressure and process. Within in this role there was a requirement for analogue and digital signal processing.
May – December 1994 (Industrial Placement), National Electric Power Authority Installation, maintenance, inspection and service of power distribution, control system transformers and feed pillars. Duties also included transmission and service line inspection, installation, monitoring and commissioning of domestic and industrial installations.
