Working as – Production Laboratory and corrosion Technician, Jan-06 to Update
Canadian Nexen East Al Hajr, Block 51, Yemen, Via Mesar Salab contractor
Duties:
• Assist Laboratory Technicians as required, wellhead sampling, BS&W analysis.
• Able to perform crude oil analysis including: BS&W, Water cuts, salt, API, Water Cut for High Water crude.
• Able to run Lubricant oil analysis using OSA machine for determination Viscosity at 40&100 Cº, TBN, Soot, Water, Nitration, Fuel, Glycol, Oxidation and other heavy metals such as Potassium, Sodium ,Silicon, Molybdenum, Aluminum, Tin, Copper, Lead, Chromium and Iron
• Able to perform produced and potable water analysis including oil in water, TSS, pH, Dissolved Oxygen, TDS, turbidity, chloride, Iron, fluoride, nitrite, nitrate etc.
• Good experience with installing / removing coupons and calculate corrosion rate.
• Good experience on checking / collecting data from rectifiers, and running pipe to soil potential measurements.
