More than 18.5 years of varied experience in the Project Engineering, Project Management/coordination and Mechanical Engineering functions of Oil & Gas / Refinery / Petrochemical Industry having worked with leaders in the industry.
Expertise in leading project teams in numerous concept development, FEED / basic engineering, detail engineering, procurement, erection and commissioning projects involving diverse jobs/responsibilities like Cost estimation, prepare approval for expenditures, present project for gate approvals to management, Project planning & scheduling, preparation of material requisitions & supporting packages, technical specifications, finalization of job scopes with vendors/Detail engineering Consultants, Issue tenders scopes & finalise tender strategy, Technical Bid Evaluations, present to tender board for high value items, Multi discipline coordination, Pre-bid qualification of vendors, Engineering coordination with all disciplines, Vendor documents review, coordination with procurement group/vendors/suppliers, preparation of erection tenders, coordination with erection/commissioning team etc.
Experience in managing Plant Hardware Changes(i.e. Management Of Changes / CAFs), CAPEX / Opex, project budgeting & control, technical study, CDP preparation, FEED preparation & review, review of ITB and Detail Engineering Packages, conducting HAZOP, Review of project schedules, resolving technical issues, coordinate with all disciplines/departments for all Capital projects / maintenance projects / Capsital Purchases.
Knowledge in the use of ERP systems (SAP/R3 Project Systems and Investment Management modules) combined with a strong background in the implementation of Project procedures, Engineering specifications, EDMS etc.
Skilled in implementing systems / controls for project Engineering/ Management functions complemented by multi discipline coordination. Acquaintance with National & International standards viz. ASME. ASTM, API, TEMA, NACE, IS etc. Also familiar with standards like EIL, BETHTEL, UOP, SHELL, SABIC, ARAMCO etc.
