PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Equipment Reliability Engineer works under the Plant Reliability Manager is responsible for advising the Plant Reliability Manager and Area Manager (OM&S) on matters pertaining to the long term Plant Reliability Programs to prevent costly and unplanned shutdowns and to extend the productive life of critical Refinery Equipment. He is tasked to do higher level analytical activities, in depth technical studies, turnaround inspection plans/works and reports. He champions the reliability efforts in assigned operating areas of responsibility. Job Description: Assist the Chief, Fuel Utilities Loss Control Administration (FULCA) Project Engineer in the contracts preparation, contractors/suppliers selection and materials specification. Strict supervision and implementation of the Insulation rationalization works and repair of all the Refinery old steam lines (low pressure and high pressure), process units, towers, heat exchangers, boilers etc. Develops and Prepares mechanical engineering design, cost estimates and specifications of the insulation materials based on the Petron Bataan Refinery established Technical Specifications , Codes & Standards.
