Crude Distillation & Desalting Unit. M.E.K. Dewaxing Unit. Atmospheric Residue Desulfurization Unit (ARD). This plant desulfurizes 66,000 BPSD of Atmospheric Residue using Nickel based Cobalt Molybdenum Catalyst in combination of Hydrogen at elevated temperature and pressure. Worked with the vendors of major plant equipment. Participated in the punch listing, water flushing, air/steam blowing, heater refractory drying catalyst loading and sulfiding. Worked on various types of rotary equipment such as Multistage Centrifugal compressors / Pumps, high speed condensing and non condensing steam turbines and reciprocating pumps / compressors. Supervised instruments, Maintenance and Electrical jobs. Experience of starting up and shutting down of the major plant equipments. Dealt with various types of emergencies such as Power/Steam failures and plant critical equipment failures in a safe manner. Took part in plants annual turn around for Catalyst dumping / loading, scheduled maintenance jobs.
