Professional Experience |
Having 10 Years of work experience in Process Engineering. Presently working as Senior Process Engineer with Foster Wheeler India Pvt Limited.
• Experience of working on FEED and detail engineering. Technically competent with experience in developing design basis, simulations, PFDs/P&IDs, process calculations and datasheets.
• Key deliverables includes preparation of PFD, P&I Diagram, sizing of Tanks, Line sizing, Pump hydraulics, control valve sizing, equipment specification list, utility summary sheet , Heat exchanger sizing calculations, vessel sizing, Relief valve sizing calculations.
• Familiar with International Codes & Standards viz. API, ASME, ANSI etc.,
• Familiar with Process Engineering Software ASPEN-HYSYS, AFT Fathom.
• Previously worked with M/s Haldia Petrochemicals ltd, West Bengal as Process engineer in Naphtha cracker associated unit. NCAU consist of Butadiene extraction plant, Benzene Extraction plant, Pyrolysis Gasoline hydrogenation plant and C4 hydrogenation plant.
• In Oswal Chemicals and Fertilizers Ltd, Orissa as a Shift Engineer- Operations in the Diammonium Phosphate fertilizer Plant.

• B.E. (Chemical Engineering) from Annamalai University, Tamilnadu with an aggregate of 68% in May 2000.
• H.S.C from Kamaraj Matriculation HS school ,Chidambaram with an aggregate of 87.5%

Additional Information |
• Supervise and provide guidance in the development of process key deliverables, Process Design Basis, PFD’s, UFD’s, Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID’s).
• Use Process Simulation software such as HYSIS to ensure project specification details in the FEED Packages are feasible and participate in Contract/Risk review and identify the risk related to project.
• Expert in Relief valve sizing calculations and checking of relief valve calculations in accordance with standards such as API 520, API 521 & API 2000.
• Involved in HAZOP review meetings and responsible for incorporation of process comments in process deliverables.
