Responsibilities and Exposure:
Material :
Preparation of Piping Material Specifications (PMS)
Material Take-Off (MTO)
Preparation of Mechanical Tender for Piping, Painting, Insulation works(includes Insulation of electrical Traced Lines)
Preparation of Material & Purchase Requisition (MR& PR)
Preparation of MR for vendor package.
Technical Bid Evaluation.
Vendor drawing Review.
Layout :
Equipment Layout, checking Piping layout Drawings, Isometrics preparation & checking, Supporting, Vessel trims etc.
Review and commenting of Structural, Exchanger Stack details, Pressure Vessel Drawings.
Stress Analysis:
Analysis of Critical Lines using CAESAR-II.
Stress Analysis of critical piping systems including Compressors, Pumps, Fin-fan coolers, Columns, Re-boilers, Flare systems, Turbine, High Pressure, Medium Pressure & Low pressure steam Lines
Dynamic Analysis of two-phase flow systems, Wind & seismic analysis,
WRC & flange leakage checks, Bolt torque calculations.
Co-ordinations with other departments like Process, HMTD, Pressure Vessels, Rotating etc.
Design of special supports, Spring supports etc.
Designing pipe support cleat from columns & vessels.
