2006-Present Field Superintendent, Foster Wheeler USA, Chevron refinery, El Segundo , CA. Supervision of the upgrading of Heavy Crude Units [ Coker/Crude unit/De-propanizer ] ( New Fractionator Column /Heat Exchangers/Piping/Electrical & Civil work) Providing engineering, technical, and logistical in support of multiple subcontractors (750+ WORKFORCE)in order to meet schedule deadlines and budget constraints. Scheduling events with unit operations & refinery management. Coordinating activities of 14 superintendents ( Mechanical, Piping, Civil, Structural, & Electrical). 1998-2006 Superintendent / General Foreman, Jacobs Engineering, BP refinery Carson, CA. Supervision of layout pipe-fitters and welders on various projects. Maintaining production activities on schedule. Coordinating inspections by QC/QA personnel To resolve hold-points on vessel repairs, hydro-tests, and Tie-Ins / Hot-taps. Identified any engineering discrepancies in design /piping conflicts, and submitted drawings to have it resolved ( RFI’ s). Completed daily/weekly production reports, Welding reports (daily counts& weld mapping), and project tracking sheets. Implemented an excellent safety program in compliance with OSHA regulations. 1998-2004 General Foreman /Pipe-fitters, TIMEC Southern CA. ,Shell Refinery Wilmington , CA. Maintenance on oil refineries. Construction of pipelines and repairs on existing facilities. Worked on reconditioning / rebuilding various models of valves. Provided guidance for various field-tests such: Hydro-test, stress, and pitting. Prepared after inspection reports. 1997-1998 Production Manager PULSE INSTRUMENTS, Paramount, California Oversaw the assembly of analytical instruments used in production lines of factories and processing facilities on farms. Reviewed specifications and recommended components ( PLC’s, electronic parts). Negotiated purchase with various vendors. 1988-2001 U. S. ARMY Served with: 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 75th Ranger Regiment, 101st Airborne/Air assault Division, and 372 MI Battalion. Participated in several Real world missions.
