« Reviewing of WPS, PQR and ensuring that only qualified.
« Witness Welder Qualification tests in association with the client.
« Maintaining records of all welders and ensures their qualification continuity.
« Continuously monitoring the performance of the welders.
« Ensuring welding consumables and materials are uses for the work are in compliance with the specified requirements. Monitor the storage and handling of welding consumables
« Ensuring that welding parameters are as per approved procedure.
« Compile daily welding reports, verify weld production reports and ensure compliance to NDT requirements.
« Reviewing of Radiographic films in accordance with acceptable standards & Review of NDT reports.
« Maintains inspection instruments, tools and equipment in proper working conditions.
« Inspects plant static equipment by entering into vessels, boilers and towers, during shutdowns, to check condition of equipment that Includes observations of cracks, pits, thinning and any other pattern of erosion, corrosion and other interior failure.
« Know how to use all inspection tools like weld gauge, pit gauge, under cut gauge, WFT gauge, DFT gauge, holiday detector (ring and brush types) etc.,
« Witnessing hydro testing of pipeline, piping and related facilities, pressure vessels as per the procedure and specification.
« Conducting safety toolbox talk and safety meeting according to the company and client‘¦s procedure.
