Professional Experience

Has over 32 years of experience in the Engineering Design, Procurement, Construction and Management of Electrical Power Systems applicable to Generation, Transmission(380kV,115kV, 13.8-4.16kV-480V) GIS Substations Yanbu(KSA) & Khurais Project(KSA)(ARAMCO) – ongoing ) and Distribution of Projects in the Utility, Industrial and Commercial environments. He has the expertise in Engineering/Design, Procurement, Construction and Management of aforementioned Project environments including sub Systems – Start-up coordination, Commissioning and Project documentation control and coordination. He is self-motivated, diligent and has excellent communication and people skills. He has designed and engineered both domestic and international projects for Distribution, Transmission and Generation Systems consisting of 120/240V, 120/208V, 277/480V, 220/380V, 600V, 4.16kV, 11kV, 13.8kV,18kV, 22kV, 25kV and 34.5kV,66kV, 115kV, 138kV 230kV. 380kV.

Skills: EPC of Commercial, Industrial & Utility Systems: - Preparation of: - Conceptual to Hard budgeting: Man-hour and construction cost estimate. Preparation and Analysis of proposals (RFP) and feasibility studies. Preparation and review of technical specifications in CSI, Corps of Engineers and OEM formats and delineations of project scope. Preparation and review of detailed Construction Documents:- Conceptual and Final design drawings, sketches and similar documents supported by analytical calculations. Review of vendor submittals for Quality Assurance and Quality Control– shop drawings, equipment test reports, construction Oversight- PRODMOD, RFI, RFC. Technical and Administrative correspondence both in-house and client related activities. Verification and acceptance Test of OEM equipments. Due diligence approach from the get go. Load Flow Studies Voltage Regulation, Voltage Drop studies, Large motor starting analysis, System Protective Coordination and Short Circuit Studies ( SKM, EDSA, ETAP).Start-up and Commissioning , SCADA/DCS interface, Substations, Distribution, Industrial, Health Care & Institutional . Expert knowledge of SKM Power Tools, EDSA, ETAP, MathCAD. Expert knowledge of the ANSI/IEEE, NESC, NEC, UL, OSHA standards relevant to his field of experience


BSEE Bangalore University, (IERF/ABET) Curriculum included Power System Analysis-Symmetrical Components Design of Transmission and Distribution Systems, Generation of Power, Economics, Advanced Mathematics, and Communication Engineering.
