- Responsible for the rig up, rig down and maintenance of life saving
equipments at offshore oil rigs including the air cascade
system, H2S and combustible gas detection and alarm system, air
breathing apparatus, breathing air compressors and etc.
- Conducts periodic breathing air quality test, calibration of fixed and
portable gas sensors, inspection of life saving equipments on lifeboats
and supply boats at offshore.
- Conducts H2S safety briefing and class on all rig crews at
offshore oil and gas rigs.
- Monitor and responsible for the safety of all rig personnel on board in
case of an H2s / gas release.
