POSITION: PIPING STRESS/ DESIGNER
• Pipe stress analysis of critical lines such as Compressor inlet and outlet piping. • Analysis of critical lines such as steam lines, cold flares lines, and lines with PSV. • Analysis of critical lines from Tower Reboiler to Reactor to Heat exchanger. • Pipe support study for the analyzed system. • Checking line list for other critical piping. • Preparation of stress information for documentation. • Stress Isometric production through AutoCAD 2008. • Piping routing of lines from cooling water pumps to Cooling Tower. • Piping routing of lines from vertical vessel going to pipe rack. • Piping routing of lines such as steam, wastewater, nitrogen, etc. • Preparation of piping information for civil such as dead loads and operating loads. • Piping routing study for initial material take off. • Materials take off of specialty items in P&ID. • Materials take off of valves in P&ID.

POSITION: PIPING STRESS ENGINEER SAUDI KAYAN Project (February 16, 2007 up to Present) • Provide proper anchors and guides locations in lines lay in pipe rack. • Compute thermal expansion of pipe to provide adequate line spacing. • Provide structural group with support, guide and anchor loads. • Decide for loop sizing and its location in pipe rack.
POSITION: PIPING STRESS ENGINEER TESORO GER Project (January 04, 2007 to February 16, 2007) – as PIPING DESIGNER • Detailed Piping Design • Route Pipes as per P&ID requirements and specifications. • Apply specific project standards and instructions. • Provide necessary pipe supports. • Material take-off • Produce isometric drawings.
POSITION: PIPING STRESS ENGINEER TESORO GER Project (August 2006 to January 2007) • Analyzed system from pumps going to vertical vessel. • Perform stress analysis of steam manifolds and tie-in connections. • Assist Piping designer for supporting non stress lines. • Analyzed high temperature lines such as flare headers and steam lines.
POSITION: JUNIOR STRESS ENGINEER DOW OL2K Project (April to August 2006) • Assigned as a Junior Stress Engineer in DOW OL2K Project under direct supervision of Lead Stress Engineer.
