Job Description / Responsibility Studying and analyzing the extent of design works to be performed. Design, planning and checking the parameters to be used or considered before design state for electrical projects. Perform design review and verification as per clients specifications & International standards. Performing design analysis and calculations as per customers requirements and in conformity to Customers Codes and Specifications. Review vendor proposal, switchgear shop drawing, bus duct drawings, P&ID, design & schematic diagrams etc. Prepare comments & recommendations. Prepares equipment arrangement layouts for local electrical buildings, substations and control rooms. Prepares cable routing layout, grounding layout, lighting & small power layout and lightning protection layouts, Prepares detailed design with the aid of AutoCAD software in support for site construction and installation. Perform site verification. Prepares cable schedules and relay coordination for protection of the system. Prepares materials take-off for switchboard, panels and accessories, relays, breakers, lighting materials, grounding materials, cable supports etc. & cable estimates for low & high voltage cables. Liaison to contractors/sub contractors and immediate attention to complaints.
