Professional Experience |
Project Manager, Project Controls Manager oil & gas, pipeline FEED, EPCM experience in Estimation, Engineering, Management and Controls.
Estimation: EMCAPS Project gated system, check points. Support/develop estimate basis memorandum, code of accounts, WBS to ensure integration of estimates, planning & cost. Handling vendor quotes, home office rate, Risks, opportunities, contingency, allowance, margins etc. Conceptual, FEED and detailed EPC multi discipline estimating. Assess contractual clauses and develop mitigation strategies.
Project Controls functions: Set up projects Control team, processes & procedures for schedule development, risk analysis, tracking & Monitoring and cost control. Steward the preparation and implementation of project schedules, budgets and rigorous Control of change to PEPs. Earned value analysis to provide true present status, forecast the potential result, budget & tracking profiles, Impact, and Corrective Action Plan to support variance analysis report (VAR). Steward Project executive report.
Project Engineering: Support/Develop P&ID, DBM, PEP & other Engineering deliverables. Coordinate/Facilitate multi disciplinary/third party Reviews - HAZOP, 3D-Model etc & action item closure. Develop & compile EWP, CWP per contracting strategy.
Project Management: Manage overall development & execution of EPC projects. Ensure Projects are executed as per PEP, baseline schedule & cost. Manage stakeholders are aligned to project objective & optimize resources – Client entities, Engineering, Module fabricators, field construction contractors, suppliers/Vendors etc. Oversee all field activities are carried with due regard to quality & safety of personnel and company assets. Ensure all technical, contractual and cost information are properly recorded, collated and available. Project close out KPIs are reviewed in setting up or update Benchmark matrices in accordance with “industry best” performance and as a tool for continuous improvement in future project executions.
Procurement & Contract Management: Preparation of MR, RFQ, Negotiate & issue PO, appoint TPI, expediting & ensure materials/equipment availability as per project schedule. Evaluate techno commercial proposals, award & administer sub contract works. Ensure compliance to contract scope packages, ITP, quality plans, staging and commissioning plans, EPCM audit reports, etc.
