Have been working at Satellite Earth Station in the Power Plant section which mainly consists of Five Engine Generators .Two Gensets are from Cummins KTA-38 rated at 775KVA; Remaining three Gensets are from Caterpillar D-398 rated 625 KVA. All of them are on Duty and Synchronized To Emerson 225 KVA (1+1) UPS having two Industrial Battery Banks. Each Battery Cell have rating of 1250AH, 2VDC .The main power supply is from WAPDA 11KV through Overhead lines. The Plant also provides Essential (no-break) supply to Ground Communication Equipments, DRS, SDH etc. and non-essential supply to Lighting System, A/C units, Electrical Motors of various Capacities etc.
