FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER. WELLHEAD TECHNICIAN/SURFACE COMPLETION. (AUGUST 2007-DATE) Responsibilities:
• General wellhead maintenance. • Support the company and customers by ensuring that the product line is installed safely and correctly. • Advise customers of the correct installation and operating procedure for the equipment as well as the maintenance required. • Serve as the primary contact between the customer on location and my company. In this role, I am representing:
(a) Sales – Ensuring that all required equipment to do the job is present and compatible. (b) Quality control- checking that all equipment is functionally correct. (c) Providing technical support and installation in a safe and efficient manner. • Well completion and installation of X-mas tree • Installation and removal of actuators (Baker & Halliburton) • Monitoring well pressure, monitoring for annulus pressures, checking for missing items on well heads and arrange for replacement • Installation and retrieval of non return valves and VR plugs on wells for well abandonment (well securing). • Carry out integrity leak on X-mas tree valves, wing valves And swap valves at the same time count valve turns in close and open position, to ensure they are OK.
