Employment Period - 2006- Present Employer - UMW Standard Drilling Sdn, Bhd. Client - Petronas Carigali Sdn. Bhd. (PCSB) Project - Exploration Well Drilling (20 Wells) Designation - Assistant Driller Job Descriptions - Adhere of drilling practices and procedures. - Assist driller in preparing drilling reports and pump records. - Assist in training all drill crew members in the proper care and use of tools. - Assist the driller in maintaining inventory control of all rig supplies used in daily drilling operations. - Assist with the preparation of equipment for impending drilling operations - Assist the Driller during an emergency or well control situation - Assist in supervision of Preventive Maintenance carried out on drilling equipment - Repairs on drilling and associated equipment - Assist in running and cementing casing strings, casing cutting, running and retrieving BOPs and risers, DST , subsea wellhead system and other operations as directed by the Driller or Toolpusher - Monitor mud systems and supervise solids control equipment and mud mixing operation - Assist in the execution of rig move operations. - Perform all duties in accordance with Company, manufacturer, and regulatory manuals and procedures. - Responsible for correcting and/or reporting any condition or act that will increase the risk of injury or damage and immediately report all accidents, injuries and illnesses to the OIM.
