Professional Experience
• (9th Feb 09 – 12th April 09) An internship in PDO in the drilling department:
safety courses: HSE induction & H2S training PDO Rig-2 (5 Weeks) in Nimr area - Karim West field. In the 5 week I stayed in Rig-2, I learnt and understand the drilling process and drilling practices. My training involved the following areas: o Rig components o Drilling procedure and practices o Surface casing and liner cementation o Circulation system o Wire line logging and formation evaluation while drilling (FEWD) o Bit design and grading o Bit hydraulics o Bit cost per meter o Directional drilling of horizontal and S-shape wells o Well completion and reservoir stimulation with mudzyme and acid o Primary and secondary well control and killing procedure o Type of tubular used for drilling and completing the well o BHA design for vertical and horizontal wells o Casing perforation o Incident investigation • (1st Jan 06 – 14th Jan 06) Industrial training in department of Mechanical Engineering in SQU: Design of a nut crashing machine using AutoCAD program and built a prototype.
