Responsibilities Include:
Dealing with oil & gas fires Extinguishers inspection and maintenance Breathing apparatus inspection and maintenance Safety audits & inspection of fixed installation Accidents / fire investigation To implement and to ensure the implementation and compliance as per safety procedures. Conduct training / lectures for safe work practice (According to PTW), general safety reviews, process safety information, emergency response, etc. To schedule testing and monitoring programs such as weekly fire drill, use of personal protective equipments (PPEs), scaffolding and ladders, fire equipments inspections and maintenance. Specific knowledge of operating all types of fire extinguishers / portable and trolley mounted fire extinguishers / Visual inspection of fire extinguisher. L E L, O2, and H2S gas monitoring by using gas detectors / monitors. Multipurpose Fire Fighting Vehicle Operation. Investigate incidents and Accidents including Near Misses. To calculate & maintain record of Safe-Man Hours. To actively participate in providing safety coverage for safe work practice during turn-around / shut-down activities, such as; a fire watch and continue vigilance for confined space entries, stand by duties for Hot works, and continue monitoring for LEL etc. To provides safety coverage during construction / pre-commissioning and commissioning activities. Conduct safety audit and inspections.
