Professional Experience
Employed as an International Field Engineer for Europe / West Africa my duties primarily Borehole Seismic Surveys offshore ( including Walkabove checkshot, walkaway, offset and salt - prox surveys). This includes the maintenance and deployment of Geophone Shuttles ( Primarily Avalon ASR and ESR ) in digital and analogue modes, including ancillary equipment ( Depth control. Wireline operations and relevant software ). as well as compressed air sources ( G guns, Sleeve guns and Bolt guns ). Including source Control ( Hotlink & Hotshot ). Comissioning and troubleshooting of the Company's VSAT idirect system. I am trained in field processing ( Avalon VSP Prowess ) as well as client liaison and report writing.
Eductation
Seven standard grades A-C. Obtained from Trinity High School, Renfrew. June 1995.
Certification
RGIT Montrose OLF European Module ( OLF approved.) RGIT Montrose Basic Safety Induction & Emergency Training ( Including HUET & EBS, OPTO approved.) Valid until 19 th September 2010. UKOOA Offshore Medical Certificate Valid until 26 th September 2010.
