Professional Experience
As a qualified Electro-Mechanical Engineer I have experience in heavy duty industrial commissioning, maintenance (fault finding and problem solving) with fluid systems and all electrical and mechanical components associated with it. I have additional experience and excellent knowledge of Technical sales where I dealt with all the major corporate and para-statal clients in the Petro Chemical, Explosives and Steel industries in South Africa. I was headhunted each time from Technical sales person to Manager to Sales Director. I have sound financial needs analysis experience gained at Liberty Life. Since 1997 I have worked in the Petro Chemical industry again where I became involved in thermal cladding and acoustic insulating on Upstream and Downstream facilities. I have worked in a supervisory capacity as Site Manager (150+ employees) on various multi million rand projects from inception and during shutdowns. Excellent knowledge and experience with materials sourcing, ordering and handling, International Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Health and Safety.
