Professional Experience
Three years of experience in a gas trading team on several positions (Wholesale pricing, Operations & Scheduling, Analysis, Origination, Project management and Asset portfolio management (see below). 1, 5 years of experience in gas origination: Setting up a gas portfolio for an internal customer (termination of full supply contracts and setting up an SLA for supplying the gas fired power plants out of the gas trading portfolio): contract negotiation, portfolio and IT setup, billing procedures, metering, etc. Knowledge about the german and UK gas market and gas infrastructure (price drivers, trading strategies, grid operators, balancing schemes, supply contracts, supply concepts, oil indexation, storages, metering, operational procedures, nominations, etc.). Very good skills in Excel and VBA programming

I´ve been working now for more than three years at Vattenfall Energy Trading, the trading unit of one of Germanys biggest energy companys. After working there now for quite some time and after sucessfully finalizing a big project at the end of last year, I´m now seeking new challenges in the energy business. I always wanted to work some time abroad and ever had the emerging countries of middle east in my mind.
