November 2008 at November 2009 Descon Engineering L.L.C Qatar Quality Control Engineer (Site) Project: Qatar Aluminum Plant 1. Preparation of Inspection Test Plan’s (ITP’s) and implementation at site. 2. Preparation of WPS, PQR and Welder Qualification’s according to ASME. 3. Preparation of QC procedures, NDT procedures. 4. Prepare Internal Audit Plan for all departments. 5. Conduct Audits with internal auditor’s team and generate - circulate Audit Summary Report. 6. Ensure proper usage/presence of Descon Integrated Management System documents. 7. Ensure that relevant Codes and Specifications are applied at Project and only current documents are in use. 8. Ensure that all Inspections and Tests are carried out as per ITP’s, WPS/PQR, Method Statement and Procedures for different activities and disciplines. 9. Highlight through CARs, PARs all process/product Non-Conformities to the In-charge Area as well as In-charge QA/QC. 10. Provides technical clarifications (Field assistance) to construction team in interpretation of drawings, specifications, codes and standards. 11. Raises and Follow-up Technical Query with Customers. 12. Follow-up with QC inspector’s for preparation, verification and review of inspection records. 13. Preparation and Carried out Mechanical Completion Inspection with main client.
