Professional Experience |
Design of base memorandum, design scope of work, design of process flow sheets for heavy oil, chemical & thermal treatments, storing and loading/unloading. Creating scheduling and allocation of work resources, procurement of major equipment, supervising of overall construction, providing direction for contractor activities, coordination of contractors and subcontractors, coordination between different engineering departments, change orders consideration from cost, schedule, quality, adequacy, safety points of view and overall impact on the project. Net assurance of regulatory requirements for API, ASME, ANSI, ISO, OHSA, Environmental codes, standards, norms and practices, as well as their meaning and interpretations. Designed of shut down principles, project closeout. The skills that were brought to the project included development from preliminary engineering to detailed designs and calculations related to pumps, pipes, storage tanks, energy balances and stress. Reported to stakeholders, including General Manager, Contractors, Construction Manager, Oilfield owners and the Environmental Authority. Corresponded and Interfaced with Department Managers, Vendors, Project engineering and Construction teams and the Safety department. Project was done On-time and below budget based on the implementation of the above mentioned procedures being implemented in regard to this challenging project which implemented innovative process technology involving produced water treatment system, high pressure and temperature process equipment and instrumentation.
The design of vendor evaluation procedures, design of new equipment data sheets, preparation of bid documentation for major equipment, procurement, supervised facility construction, NDT testing, evaluated and award contract for detailed engineering. Managed contractor preparation for detailed design, material specifications, procurement and construction. calculations of pumps, pipes, storage tanks, energy balance, stress, coordination of contractors, subcontractors, between engineering departments. The skills that were brought to the project included development from preliminary engineering to detailed designs and calculations related to pumps, pipes, storage tanks, energy balances and stress. |
