Objective
I am looking for a permanent captain position.
My 22 years as Officer, 11 as Chief officer, in tanker ships over 550 feet, has given to me
fundamental and significant experience to complement my objective.
I take pride in being a good motivator, and I have learned the skills and have a proven
ability for all aspects within the bridge departments. I am fully aware of the long term
value of continuous maintenance and upkeep; I appreciate the required quality and
maintain the highest standards.
Qualifications
• Captain Bachelor from Nautical School • Master since 1997 • All the required certificates according STCW: 1. Certificate of Competency 2. Certificate of Qualification for the Control of Firefighting Operations 3. Certification of Qualification to Take Charge of Medical Care on Board Ships 4. Operation of Crude Oil Washing / Inert Gas Systems Certificate 5. Certificate of Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats 6. Certification of Qualification to Take Charge of Cargo Operations in Oil Tankers 7. GMDSS General Operator’s Certificate 8. Certificate of Qualification to Preform Specific Duties on Tankers 9. Radiotelephone Operator’s Certificate 10. Certificate of ARPA Simulator • Radar Simulator Course (Shiphandling) in Norway
