Lab Work
• Analysis Of Crude Oil: The analysis involves measuring of vapor pressure, ASTM distillation, Rheology of crude, Kinematic viscosity, PV, YV, flash & fire points, Water content by Karl Fisher method, % of paraffinic, naphthenic & aromatic content, % of polar, asphaltenes, resins & wax content, cloud & pour points, congealing points etc.
• Water Testing: The test involves measurement of pH, total solid content, total soluble solid, alkalinity, acidity, chlorides, sulfate, carbonate, bicarbonate, nitrate, silica, iron, phosphate, calcium, magnesium, sodium, potassium, unsaponifiable matter, iodine value, saponification value etc.
• Cement Testing: The test involves measurement of thickening time, viscosity, free water content in slurry, rheology, shear bonding, consistency test, IST & FST, fluid loss, compressive strength, gel strength etc.
• BHP Measurement: Measuring the bottom hole pressure and temperature in recovery wells.
• HPLC: The analysis involves measuring % of paraffinic, naphthenic & aromatic content, % of polar, asphaltenes, resins & wax content.
Computer Skills
• Proficient with MS-Office in Windows, internet and Networking environments
