Job description: Work as civil engineer member of HALCROW team sponsored by (Al-Hejailan consultants) supervising the work done by the contractor starting from: •The ground improvement (vibro-compaction, dynamic compaction) and tests for quality assurance of it (CPT, SPT, CBR,..) inspections for sub grade and sub-base layers , •Inspection for the underground services (RTR pipes, drainage pipes, electric ducts), •Inspection for paving by CBM and Lean concrete ,inspection for the high strength paving block (interlock) and make sure it follow the specification before handover for the client. •Responsible for supervising and inspection of Marine work as the underwater concrete, capping block inspection including the quay wall furniture (bollards, fenders...) crane rail beam reinforcement inspections including the cast in items. •Responsible for the quality control of two patch plant in site with average production 1000m³/day with different mix designs and supervising the required material tests by the specifications. • Inspection of works at site and issuing the necessary remedial notices. •Watching the daily progress and keep on monitoring the contractor actual progress compared the planned schedule and giving full data for the superior. •Evaluating and reporting quality data and giving instructions for the contractor engineer for what is best for the quality and the project progress. •Revise the Method of statements supplied by the contracTor.
