Skill Profile •Oil & gas engineering experience (Fully conversant with relevant international standards. •Experience with Company and/or Shell Group projects and conversant with international codes such as ASME B31.3, ASTM, API 6A and standards (SPs / ERDs and DEPs). •Experience in hydraulic analysis (static modelling), piping isometrics, piping design / draught software •Hands on experience on AutoCAD, PDS working Knowledge, Finite Element Analysis(FEA) Software such as CAESAR II, CAEPIPE Activities & Responsibilities: Provides technical advice and consultancy on aspects for the facilities (Pipe work - Pipelines Separators Control valves Safety Relief valves - Pumps - heat exchangers - Choke valves Orifices -…etc. for being used for the following facilities and systems 1-Off shore/On shore facilities (Gas/Oil/Water) 2- Fire fighting systems 3-Water Treatment units, Water Flood stations ...etc Develop and elaborates the Statement of Requirements (SOR) for consultants And/or engineering contractors for new projects/modifications in Collaboration with operators/sponsors Participate in risk, safety, health and environmental related studies (HAZOP) and reviews with consultants to ensure that the engineering aspects of all Temporary and permanent modifications are risk assessed and managed. Develop sound recommendations for on hand operation problems according To the international standards. (API - ASME- ANSI - BP -...etc.) Review/approve in-house engineered works including drawings, Specifications/data sheets and bills of quantities as required and ensure that State-of-the-art technology is applied in the selection of piping materials and associated parts while participating in all phases of projects.
