Recruited to TransGlobe Energy Corporation Egypt to carry out the day to day Reporting functions for an onshore exploration and production project in the Suez Gulf
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
„± Ensuring compliance with Sarbanes Oxley legislation i.e. demonstrating an auditable system of controls sufficient to guarantee integrity of financial results and position „± Execute monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes on a timely basis, and ensure accurate reporting in accordance with Finance Standards and Practices. „± Preparation of quarterly forecasts submissions with variance analysis. „± Assist in preparation of annual business plans, and responsible for planning for the headquarter teams. „± Preparation and review of monthly Management Information reporting. „± Ensure Organization Budgets are developed and cost is within the set guidelines. „± Resolve any differences arising out of reconciliations of subsidiary records with General Ledger. „± Act as the super user to maintain controls over accounting systems. Ensure accounting and process standardization in systems.
