BUYER: Performs duties in the purchasing, including bidder prequalification, bidder lists, bid solicitation, bid analysis, negotiation and commitment of purchase orders. Sourcing of Vendors, Sourcing Sub Contractors, Inviting Tenders, Registration of Vendors and Contractors, Adopting Standard Purchase System like Floating Inquiries Inviting Quotations Drafting Commercial terms Deciding Purchase Orders terms, Making Comparison of the Vendors Financial Concurrences and placing Orders Procurement of Engineering Materials, Spares Procurement of Consumables and all follow ups from placing the Orders and delivery of the materials at job site. To plan, organize and undertake the procurement activities for the Project including permanents materials and temporary works materials in accordance with the specifications, drawings, schedules, site QA/QC, safety and environmental procedures and programme requirements within budgeted cost levels.
Expediting Specialist: Performs expediting activities on a project, in a support office, or at a jobsite to ensure receiving and timely delivery of materials and equipment to meet project needs. Also performed expediting activities on proposals such as floating enquiries and receiving offers, coordination between bidder and engineering for technical queries, evaluation of bid and recommendation of the bid based on CBT.
Materials Controller: Perform duties in the material handling, including receiving, proper storage of material. Over, short and damaged/deviated material report. Material planning. Effective deliveries of material. Coordination and follow up for ETA pending/Missing material, Coordination for shipping status and shipment’s delivery with Procurement and Logistics dept.
