JOB DESCRIPTION FOR QA/QC ENGINEERS – (BUILDING SECTION)
Reporting to: QA/QC Manager (BUILDING) DUTIES: To ensure the quality of the station main arrangement works are consistent with the consortium's policy requirements together with the client's Specifications. Ensuring that all QA/QC matters are in accordance with head office QA/QC System.
1) Carry out inspection with site engineers & subcontractors in accordance with Inspection Testing Plan ( ITP ) drawings etc. and ensure correct documentation is prepared for Inspection Testing Request ( ITR ) 2) Assist with site engineers over materials and ensure that correct materials approval documentation is in place for Engineers review. 3) Follow up non-conformance reports and to ensure recommended actions are acted upon before closure by Engineer. 4) Coordinate quality matters with all the site engineers, sub-contractors and vendors. 5) Coordinate rejected (ITR’s) when required and liaise with head office QA/QC to closure point. 6) Verify that the quality related site activities are in accordance with the applicable method statements, drawings, codes and standards. 7) Liaise with head office on quality audits and inspections. 8) Assist in the implement the QA/QC management procedures at site. 9) Ensure all quality control documentation is complied and completed for handover to head office QA/QC for Engineers review and approval. 10) Ensuring the safety is adhering to at site.
