Professional Experience
Major Projects handled by me were:
1768 KMs BTC pipeline project through Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey for carrying 1.2 million bpd of crude oil and SCP pipeline project running parallel for carrying 8.8 billion cubic meters of natural gas per year. Kharyaga oilfield development project of TotalFinaElf in Siberia, Russia. Kashagan field development project in Kazakhstan by ENI. BG Group Plc and Eni SpA led Karachaganak oil project in Kazakhstan. Associated with the Turkmengas project for development of the South Yoloten gas field in Turkmenistan.
CIS Taxation (Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Russia and Georgia)
Provided tax strategies for set up of business structures for all projects in the CIS countries, tax effective structuring of remuneration packages, handled all Corporate / Indirect / Personal tax matters to minimize tax exposure and successfully represented the company for tax audits.
Project Accounting
Periodical project related financial reporting to the management, convergence of Russian accounts to International accounting, monitor project Cash flow, budgets, responsible for receivables and payables, joint venture accounting and successfully implemented accounting software at sites and integration to the main system.
