Platform and Land Rigs.
Professional Experience
1967-1976 P&O Steam Navigation Company London Sailed as Junior then Senior electrical officer on Passenger, Refrigerated cargo vessels and Oil Tankers ending on LPG & LNG Carriers.
1976-1979 SEDCO (Iran) Rig Electrician Worked on Land Rigs in Ahvaz area, also on Kharg Island And Kish Island in the Arabian Gulf.
1979-1981 SEDCO (Spain) / Terramar Drilling.Chief Rig Electrician. Worked on Semi-Submersible Drill Rig Sedco I Unit Then worked on the Afortunada for Chevron/Eniepsa In Drilling Operations and the Early Production Unit.
1981-1983 SEDCO (Dallas) Operations Division. Worked as Project Engineer in support of the construction of SEDCO 711, 712, 714 Drilling Units in the Hyundai Shipyard In Ulsan Korea
1983-1984 INTERNATIONAL DRILLING COMPANY Chief Rig Electrician Worked on Semi-Submersible Drilling Rig Chris Chenery. On various locations in North Sea.
1984-1989 NATIONAL DRILLING COMPANY ABU DHABI Chief Rig Electrician. Worked on various Jack-Up Drilling Rigs of Baker Marine, Hitachi Zosen and Marathon Le Tourneau design in Arabian Gulf. .
1990-1991 HAMPCO / GENE HAMPTON Commissioning Engineer for the OCEAN ALLIANCE 4th generation DP semi-submersible Drilling unit major enhancement project in Invergordon Scotland.
