Responsible for driving technical service resolution and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through providing post-sales technical/functional support to current and prospective customers on 24X7 basis. Install, configure and support hardware's like Sun Desktops/Workstations, Cool Threads servers, Entry-Level servers, Midrange servers, SPARC64 VI Servers, Disk arrays, Network arrays, Tape libraries according to SUN EIS standard. Install, configure, and support software's like Solaris Operating Environment, Sun Cluster, VERITAS Products. Provide SUN Professional Service like Sun Cluster Implementation, SAN Environment Setup, VERITAS NetBackup Implementation, Storage Configuration etc. Develop build specification and project documentation for professional services according to customers requirement. Consistently developing the technical skills through "Sun Partner Advantage Competency Program" and by attending Instructor based training. Consistently contributes knowledge and content to support team. Escalating cases to higher level of support adhering to escalation procedures. Effectively collaborates with SUN backline engineer to achieve end-to-end service quality. Assist third party to implement the Network and Power Connection for the Data Center according to client’s requirements. Work with Clients and end users throughout the support life cycle of any critical issue to ensure quality of support are being effectively met and that support is within the written requirements guidelines. Solves complex problems and deals with a variety of issues in situations where only limited standardization exists. Provide incident report to the customer for every issues and root cause analysis report whenever required. Maintain a database of every onsite and phone support details. Conduct meeting with clients for clarification of service issues.
