Present Experience:
Working as a Rig Electrician Kuwait Drilling Company (2003 Feb. to present day) on a 750 hp SCR land rig and a 1500 hp SCR land rig (TESCO HYDRAULIC TOP DRIVE).
Duty consists of:
• Preparing rig for moving and reassembling after moving (frequency 5-35 days) • Maintenance, trouble shooting and repairs on the following types of equipment • Caterpiller-3512 main generating sets (1750 kva) • Caterpiller-3406 camp generating sets • Iveco Generator (250 kva) • Olympian (Perkins 1300 series) generator -GEH 250 (230 kva) • Model 1400 Ross Hill SCR System( Later model with Allen Bradley PLC incorporated) • Drilling motors GE 752 800hp series type • Elmago brake type 3550HS and 19RD130 with battery backup • Allen Bradley 600 volt motor control centre • Equipment for zone 1 and zone 2 hazardous areas • Swaco drilling instrumentation and fiber optic cable system • Tesco hydraulic Top drive • Gaitronics telephone system • Setting and tuning satellite Internet systems • MSA H2S system • Rig and camp air conditioning and refrigeration • Batteries and battery charging systems • Camp laundry and galley equipment • Caterpiller-950G and 966 forklifts • Setting up and tuning communication and TV satellite dish antenna • Computerized assisted maintenance-CAM
