Professional Experience
Junior Core Analyst Handling cores, Slabbing with proper orientation, drilling Plugs in normal or frozen conditions for unconsolidated cores using dry ice or liquid nitrogen and their preservation in Resin or Wax. Analysis of core samples for Routine Core Analysis – Grain Density, Porosity and Permeability measurements using Ultrapore* and Ultraperm*, Pressure decay profile Permeability (PDPK), Water, Gas, Oil Saturation determination using the Dean Stark and Cleaning Soxhlets, Computed Tomography and Topography imaging (CT Scan), Spectral Gamma logging, Bulk volume determination using the Mecury pump and Digital imaging of cores in normal light and UV light to visualize petroleum content.
Biostratigraphy Department Assisting Supervisor to ensure Quality Control and smooth operation of the Sample Preparatory Lab. Qualified as Authorized Personnel for Acid digestion processing for Palynological Analysis. Sample preparation for Biostratigraphic Analysis of Foraminifera, Calcareous Nannofossils and Kerogen Typing from ditch cuttings, outcrops, core plugs and shallow cores. Initial treatment of samples for the study of Geochemistry of Source Rock.
