Metric Medical Devices Inc. April 2010 - Present Biomedical Product Development Intern Use computer software and mathematical models to design, develop and test new orthopedic products for extremities. Other tasks include providing support to senior management and marketing for 510K, grant, and patent submissions along with marketing packages.
University of Texas at San Antonio Mechanical Engineering Department Fall 2010 - Present Measurements and Instrumentation Teaching Assistant / Numerical Methods Grader Currently teaching four M&I labs. Responsible for creating assignments, review labs, teaching new engineering concepts, and helping students successfully complete the lab.
Rock Geotechnical Engineering Fall 2010 - Present Engineering and Lab Technician Responsible for overseeing and performing geotechnical lab tests and drilling. Tests include PI, 200’s, and moisture content, along with psi ratings for concrete.
Standard Aero Summer 2010 Test Cell / Compressor Cluster Mechanical Engineering Intern Led and participated in various projects to ensure compliance with United States Navy and Air Force Technical orders. Developed and implemented solutions to improve company efficiency and productivity.
UTSA Hard Tissue Biomechanics Lab Fall 2006 - Spring 2008 Lab Technician / Research Assistant Elucidate the relationship between structures and mechanical behavior of hard tissues. Responsible for: Coring, photographing and logging osteon tissue samples, grading core samples and machining eccentric cutting tools

Senior Design Team leader – Currently designing and building a cyclic loading machine for in vivo testing of rat and mouse ulnas. Also, developing testing protocols and completing research paper.
Bare Engine Oil Package Temperature Control System Designed a temperature control system to manage oil inlet temperature for the Rolls Royce T-56 power sections tested at Standard Aero's test cell.
Measurement System Analysis for the Capacitor Probe Inspection System Conducted a Six Sigma MSA for the CPIS. This system measures compressor blade tip-to-case run out.
