December 2008 to present CYBER DRILLER KCA Deutag DWG Platform
Responsible for; • Drilling high angle deviated wells, back reaming, tripping in and out, running casing, cementing, displacing operations. • Managing, leading and motivating the drill crew to ensure they work safely and follow safety procedures. • Conducting daily inspections of all drilling areas and equipment. • Measuring and recording detailed well information. • Control and operate all moving equipment on the drill floor (automatic and manual e.g. Hydraulic Rough Neck, Vertical Pipe Handler and Tubular Feed Machine). • Translating and explaining communication between expats and local Azeri and Russian speakers.
May 2008 to December 2008 Assistant Driller KCA Deutag DWG Platform Responsible for; • Pressure test all lines and valves on drill floor and BOP stack. • Carry out the line-up procedure on the standpipe manifold and choke and kill line manifold. • Conduct daily checks of BOP stack and well control equipment. • Assist the Driller with the management of the drill crew. • Assist with daily inspections of all drilling areas and equipment. • Prepare daily drilling report. • Grease all moving parts of drilling equipment on drill floor. • Prepare handling equipment prior to break-out or make-up of BHA.
December 2007 to May 2008 Fluid Operative/Derrickman KCA Deutag DWG Platform Responsible for; • Bunker and backload bulk fluids and powder. • Transfer drilling fluids. • Operate automatic valves from Drill View. • Maintain the mud pumps.
June 2006 to December 2007 Assistant Fluid Operative KCA Deutag DWG Platform (Pump Man) I attended extensive technical and language training during this period. In addition I worked on a variety of platforms using both automatic and manual equipment on Chirag 1, Central Azeri, West Azeri and East Azeri.
