Professional Experience
ENGINEER (various functions, depends of needs of company) 1. OPERATIONS PLANNER&TECHNICAL ADVISER FOR TERMINAL AND COMMERCIALS OPERATIONS: 24/24 advise on operational manager and head of port operations&operating about how to conduct all activities from oil terminal in a best manner of performance, requests and verify clients commands and the commercial documents and inform superiors, responsible for all document management and engineering functions for all operations; Planning, organizing and providing lay-cans for entry into operation of ships and barges who operating in the oil berths, assuring the achieving in time of loading/unloading contract terms, and proposal of measures leading to avoidance during "dead times" as well. Proposes methods for increasing loading/unloading rates in order to avoid registration by accidental stopping and/or demurrages; Liaise on a day-to-day basis with all internal and external services/clients involved in operations to ensure efficient operations; Other attributions. 2. CARGO CONTROL ROOM/PORT OPERATIONS&OPERATING DISPATCHER: During the shift, I planning, coordinating and monitoring all operations included in operations plans for loading/unloading/storage/bunkering at/from ships/barges/ rail tanks for liquid chemicals/petrochemicals/gasoline/diesel/fuel oil/crude oil in accordance with specific procedures, respecting and knowing very well technological schemes from all storage farms; Key involvement in commissioning and start up of storage terminal&marine loading/unloading facilities; Planning, requesting and monitoring activities performed by shift supervisors and/or shift leaders from farms, loading masters and independent inspectors nominated in operations plans for making measurements/inspections at shore tanks, ship tanks, rail tanks, auto tanks, other tanks, etc.; Requesting to start up/shut down the loading/unloading of ships officer/shift supervisors after confirmation by performing accurate and opening routes for pumping in/from tanks nominated in operations plan; Planning, organizing, take the necessary measures and give immediate solutions to remedy and intervening operative in any cases of failure, technical accidents, fires, pollution and/or other events. Until the arrival of heads of service, I am Emergency Response Team Leader; Inform the superiors of the events produced during the shift.
