Testing & Inspection: Witnessing the Welder Qualification Test, Hydrostatic Test, Pneumatic Test, Hardness Testing, Stress Reliving and all type of Mechanical Testing in the laboratory as per the Code of Construction. Inspection of Raw Materials such as Plates, Pipes, Fittings and Flanges and Bought out items like Valves, Piping Hanger supports. Review of Raw Material Certificates Visual inspection of fabrication and site welds. Conducting In process and final Inspection of Piping Interpretation of radiographic films.
Welding: Monitoring Before, during and after Welding; selecting NDT to ensure the quality of welding in process and repair of welding. Closely monitoring the welder individual performance. Strictly implementing the WPS & PQR instructions and maintaining parameters reports. Monitoring and controlling the repair percentage of each welder. Coordinating with clients / consultants while the inspection is being carried out and offer any clarifications as required. Reviewing the applicable instruments for inspection with valid calibration certificates. Confirm repairs, re-testing and re-inspection in accordance with specifications. Witnessing of Weld repair activities as per client approved WPS.
