Started my career as a well site Drilling Engineer with Ascom Group Company in Kazakhstan project with HPHT wells 3500 m depth and up to 10K pressure at surface. With the same Company started a project in Sudan as a well site Drilling Engineer with three exploration wells, 3000m depth with difficulties such as hole instability and drilling the well on Nile river. Wells were delivered in time and bellow allocated cost. Another project with Ascom was started in Iraq Kurdistan with drilling of one HPHT exploration well with H2S. The well was drilled with some problems (BHA stuck and side track). In Iraq I was working as a well site Drilling Engineer.
Enjoyed Firstdrill Company in UK as a Drilling Engineer, my activity was focused in planning of onshore drilling project of one exploration well in Georgia for the Strait Oil&Gas client. I was directly involved in preparing of well design, AFE cost, technical and economical part of tender documentation for drilling services (well site construction, drilling rig, cementing, mud, directional, mud logging, wireline logging etc.), analyzing and delivering to the client for approval. The well was not delivered to TD (3500m) due to geological reason. Firstdrill was project management company in this project.
Enjoyed OMV Pterom in Romania as a Drilling Engineer in planning and supervision of drilling operations. My responsibility is focused in preparing of drilling programs, casing design, collision design, hydraulics, cementing, directional well profile, selecting of drilling mud type and drilling rig, etc. for the wells drilled in the country. Most of the wells are deviated due to locations issues, up to 2000m depth in mature fields with aggressive mud losses and hole instability problems, with slim design and special completions (sand control). Also we are drilling horizontal wells in mature viscous oil field with well depth 500m MD (200m TVD). Preparing and keeping records of EOWR and lessons learn. Preparing and analyzing of KPI’s and allocated AFE. Casing Drilling.
