Sulphur Recovery Project at Meesied Project (Qatar Petroleum)
• Handled Process area for New Acid Gas Enrichment Unit (AGEU), New Tail Gas Unit (TGTU) and Existing SRU Revamp (Claus Process). • Feed Verification Study and Process Simulation using Promax 3.2 version. • Equipment Adequacy/Vendor Review for Burners, separators, columns and heat exchangers. • Review of vendor document, interdisciplinary co-ordination, development of process documents including P&ID’s to AFC status based on HAZOP & vendor data inclusion during detail engineering. • Liaison with Licensor (Worley Parsons), Catalyst Vendor (Axens) B&V (Consultant) and client (QP) for resolution of critical issues through emails, TQ’s, Site-visit and meetings. • Preparation of detail design documents (H&MB, PFD’s, process specifications, and data sheets) for Separators, Air Coolers, and Shell & Tube Heat Exchangers and Instrument datasheets. • Preparation & Review of Control Loops, Instruments set points, Alarm and Trip Settings and Cause & Effect.
