Professional Experience |
My career in petroleum laboratory began in 2005 as a specialist at Istanbul Technical University. Since that time I
have had several responsibilities such as working in petroleum laboratory development projects and exploration
activities, coordinating of petroleum laboratory and giving drilling fluids courses for Istanbul Technical University. I
have gained an extensive experience about petroleum laboratory. I am skilled in laboratory equipments set up and have
ability to handle heavy duties. I can use equipments such as; core cutting, helium porosimeter, capillary pressure,
resistivity meter, saturation and porosity determination system, liquid and gas permeameters, computer controlled
displacement pumps, precision balances for imbibition experiments, distilled water units, saybolt-furol viscometer,
kinematic viscosity tube sets, rheometer,hydrometer set, open cup flash point apparatus, computer controlled De Nouy
tensiometer, mud mixers, mud balance, filtrate analysis kit, Fann viscometers, variable speed viscometers, resistivity
tester, standartd filterpress, HTHP filterpress, methylene blue kit, sand content kit, retort kit, chemical analysis kit. I
worked on several research and industrial projects and also worked for Turkish Petroleum Corporation in its Research
Center Drilling Technologies’ cement and mud laboratories as a researcher.
Besides, during my master study, I worked on a study of derivative behavior of two z- factor correlations using
residual and thermophsical properties and I developed a simulator with FORTRAN programming language. |
