Eni's business ties with Libya have not been damaged by the current turmoil, Paolo Scaroni, chief executive of Italy's biggest oil company said on Wednesday.
"Absolutely not, I don't consider that they have been compromised at all," Scaroni told reporters at the sidelines of a parliamentary hearing.
"We have maintained relationships with the National Oil Corporation (NOC), which is our main interlocutor," he said, adding that whatever government was in charge in Libya, there was no reason for existing contracts and relationships to be hurt.
