Iran Expects to Find Four New Gas Fields

Following the latest exploration being carried out by Iranian experts, the country expects to find four new gas fields before the end of March 2012, exploration director of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), Mahmoud Mohaddes announced.

He went on to say that, Iran recently discovered the Madar natural gas field located in eastern part of Assaluyeh, Mehr news agency reported.

The field holds 495 billion cubic meters of gas and has reserves of 1573 million barrels of gas condensates.
