Saudi Aramco Project Management recently signed a contract with National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) Abu Dhabi for work on the north Safaniya offshore oil field. The project involves the installation of 42 Electric Submersible Pumps (ESP) on seven existing platforms. Additionally, mezzanine decks will be added to the existing platforms to accommodate the ESP service equipment. Subsea power cables will be installed along with new flanklines and a 42", 50km trunkline from a new tie-platform to onshore Safaniya GOSP-1.
