The Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF) will study the issues of the price and natural gas production in its next meeting that is scheduled to be held in Qatar on December, Iran's minister of petroleum, Rostam Qasemi announced.
SHANA news agency quoted Rostam Qasemi as saying that the topics of the production of natural gas and its sale price will be studied in the next round of meeting of GECF.
He emphasized on Iran's significant share of global natural gas reserves, while adding that the country will participate actively in the next GECF summit.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the minister of petroleum said that the country’s energy diplomacy is based on expanding relations with other countries adding the ministry welcomes foreign investment.
"This does not imply our failure in implementation of oil industry projects and today I can firmly announce that we don’t rely on foreigners in implementation of oil projects", Qasemi noted.
He also expressed Iran’s readiness for participation and investment in other countries.
